How To Play Golf For Beginners

Golf is an outdoor game played individually or in teams that compete to insert the ball into the holes on the course with the least number of strokes possible. Golf balls are hit using a set of clubs called clubs (golf clubs).

The rule of thumb in golf is “to play a ball with the golf club from the teeing ground into the hole with one stroke or the following strokes according to the Rules”.

One round usually consists of 18 holes. In golf there are two types of play: stroke play and match play. The first stroke is struck from the teeing ground except in games called foursomes (two teams of two compete). The members of each team take turns using one ball.

Subsequent strokes are struck from the position where the ball last landed. The first shot from teeing ground is called the tee shot. A stroke to reach the green is called an approach. Furthermore, a stroke on the green to roll the ball into the hole is called putting. If the player manages to get the ball into the hole not from the green, the shot is called a chip-in.

In golf the goal is the number of strokes possible. The player must put the ball in the hole in the least number of strokes. The less the better.

Players usually walk on the court to hit the next ball, alone or in a group of two, three, or four people. Players are also usually accompanied by a caddy (caddy). Caddy is in charge of bringing in player equipment and helping players complete a hole by providing advice.
